Endemali is an effective preparation for peptic ulcer and gastritis. It has healing, soothing and emollient properties. It is effective in gastritis, biliousness, flatulence, griping and dysentery.
Description
Hamdard Endemali
Plantago ispaghula: A natural remedy that relieves constipation by bulk-forming and softening stools. It also helps and relieves irritative bowel syndromes and is effective in bilious diarrhea and dysentery.
Ocimum pilosum: It helps and acts as an anti-inflammatory, relieves gastric irritation and helps in ulcer healing.
Boswellia glabra: It contains Boswellic acid which has anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to reduce the inflammatory conditions & heals the ulcer. It is also effective in irritative digestive conditions & bowel disorders.
Gil-e-Multani: When given by mouth adsorb toxic and other substances from the alimentary tract and increases the bulk of feces. They are employed in the symptomatic treatment of diarrhea, also have coagulating properties.
Resin: The resin is thick and sticky, which helps and heals the ulcer, also relieves gas and diarrhea, improves the health of the stomach and liver.
Pistacia lentiscus: It has been found helpful and effective in the management of gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and many types of intestinal inflammation. It is also considered as carminative and astringent.
Indications
Peptic ulcer, gastritis, biliousness, flatulence, griping, dysentery and diarrhea.
Dosage
1sachet before the principle meals (lunch and dinner) with water.
For dysentery – 1 sachet with water 4 times a day.
For constipation – 1 sachet with water at bedtime with water or as directed by the physician.
